The Bus Ride

Nya and I went to visit Matt on a business trip to Colorado. Lil' James flew out to Denver with us so that he could help Matt work. While the boys were working Nya and I took naps, went to the Denver Zoo, Children's Museum, played at a couple of parks, played in the Animas River, watched a movie, and wandered around Wal-Mart. We took taxis, rode the bus, and were finally able to use the car. While we were riding on the bus, Nya had that excited, I'm such a big girl, I know what I am doing look on her face. I asked her if she liked riding the bus. She said, "Yes, my daddy always takes me on the bus." I chuckled at that response. Here I am riding the bus with her. The last time we were in Denver, we rode the bus at least a half dozen times; Matt rode it with us once to go out to dinner. Now Nya says that daddy always takes her on the bus. When I told Matt about it, he said, "Good girl Nya, you just keep remembering I did things with you when I really didn't."
