Iguassu Falls, Brazil and Argentina

Well, we were able to squeeze in a quick trip to Argentina to experience an up close visit to Iguassu Falls. We were definitely up close. In fact we took a boat ride that took us under the falls!! It wasn't really under, it just felt like it. We were so close that we were completely soaked. The boat ride was a blast. We also took some hikes throughout the falls and were able to stand directly above the falls. That is right small bridges had been constructed so that visitors can be at the top of the falls and look down, a very long way down.

Before we were soaked from the boat ride, we experienced the typical rain forest weather, rain. Not just a little sprinkle, but a full fledged downpour. Although we felt a bit frustrated because we were unable to get cover from the downpour and had difficulty seeing because of the immense amount of water, we still enjoyed the beauty of the forest and the mud.
Our second day at Iguassu falls was on the Brazil side of the falls. It did not rain this day, but we did get wet when we got close to the falls. Pictures can not describe the beauty of these falls. We were overcome with the size and beauty of the falls.
