Nya started preschool on August 4th. She was very excited, but a little nervous as well. This year she did not have Sophia in her class. Luckily, her friend Andrew is in her class again this year. So far, so good. 
Another exciting occurrence this month is the beginning of Nya's ballet and tap class. We went shopping for a leotard, tights, tap shoes and ballet shoes. Nya was enjoying herself immensely. After we put the ballet slippers on her feet, she immediately stood on her toes and said, "that hurt." We told her that she does not need to go all the up on her toes yet, and when it is time she will get special pointe shoes. Nya said that she already knows ballet, but she does not know how to tap dance. She was thrilled by the loud noise her tap shoes made. After her first class she said, "Tap isn't so hard after all."
THE CAST:
Nya got a blister on her foot from not wearing socks with her shoes. So, she made a cast out of her baby doll clothes. She hobbled around for about 30 minutes, and then she was miraculously healed.

She looks so cute and the cast is so funny.
I love the fake cast. Girls are so creative. Their imaginations are awesome. It's all about the drama. With the boys it's all about the violence!! Sorry we missed your dinner party on Sunday. It stunk that Steve's parents were having their homecoming on the same day we get invited to your house in a bajillion years. Please, don't forget about us. WE miss you and want to see you soon. You know you are always welcome to come on over to our place when your in our neck of the woods.
