Easter

Nya and I spent Easter together. Matt was working in CA. We went to the community Easter Egg hunt. They do a nice job: there is face painting, clowns making balloons, fire trucks to explore, and this year was kite flying (which did not go for long because it started to rain). The eggs are just spread out on the field, a different field for each age group. The children are suppose to line up along the field and when the fire engine horn sounds, they can run and collect the eggs. Nya is in the 3-5 year old group and parents were suppose to stay on the sidewalk and let the kids hunt on their own. So, the kids looked really cute and eager in their line, when the horn blew, the parents all yelled for the kids to run. They did, but they did not pick up any eggs. The kids just ran across the field like they were having a race. Then the parents yelled, "pick up the eggs, pick up the eggs!" So about halfway across the field the kids started picking up eggs. I think it was one of those, "you had to be there" moments, but take my word for it, it was funny.

That is so funny all the parent's had to yell "pick up the eggs". You just have to love all these little angels.
