PreSchool

Can you believe it, Nya, my baby, has started Preschool. She has been asking to go to school and do homework for nearly a year now. After many phone calls, drivebys, and talking with other mothers and preschool teachers, I finally found a school that would work for 2 1/2-year-old Nya. Luckily the preschool has ages 2-4 in the same class so Sophie can be in the same class. The second week, Thomas also joined the class so Nya has 2 cousins in class. How Fun!!

Nya has done great in her first 2 weeks of school. She won't tell me much, but every now and then she will slip and start singing a song they learned in school. When I acknowledge it, she stops. Hopefully she will open up and tell me a little more. She comes home with lots of artwork that she is very proud of. Unfortuneately, after the class has spent a whole week on learning the color brown, Nya only knew one color on her assessment. Any guesses???

Pink of course. Apparently pink is the only color that is important to Nya.
