Update

Wow, I cannot believe that it has been nearly 2 months since my last post. How time does fly! Well, we have been extremely busy. I have been working, Matt has been doing a lot of traveling, Nya has been busy playing and going to school. I think Nya actually enjoys me working. She started off excited, then upset that I was leaving her, and now that I am not working anymore, she still asks whose house she gets to go to. However it is nice to be back home with her, she will get use to me again.
Amy is going to stay with us for about 6 months. It is fun having her here. Daisy Dog gets very excited around Amy because she thinks Amy came over to take Daisy hiking. Guess again Daisy.
Gideon came for a brief visit last weekend. He was talking on the phone to one of his friends about what he could do on a date. He mentioned that he could take her hiking. Nya (eavesdropping on Gideon's conversation) immediately piped up saying, "Oh yes, we can go hiking Gideon." Gideon was oblivious to what Nya was saying so when he got off the phone she told Gideon she wants to go hiking. Then she said, "Are you taking your girlfriend hiking?" Gideon was shocked, how did Nya know he was talking about a girlfriend when he never mentioned the word?
(Mommy had told her that Gideon will not be able to go hiking with Nya because he was taking his girlfriend).

Fall is here. The leaves are changing colors and beginning to fall. I love this season because of all the beauty. I am not looking forward to raking all of the leaves, and then winter. YIKES.
