More Hawaii Pictures

Our beautiful, but strenuous hike. We thought it was just one mile to the falls, but it was a difficult and steep 2 mile one way hike!! We thought we were going to die! However we all made it. The falls were beautiful and Maria jumped off a cliff into the pool that was about 35 feet deep. We all expected the falls to be much bigger (it was about 30-40 feet) after such a strenuous hike.
Jonathan and Heather and their kids came with us on the hike.

Maria and I making a silly face for the photographer (Nya).
Matt, Nya, and Maria were looking for shells when I made them look up for a picture.
Another beautiful hike picture.
The kids did great on the hike, this was before it got hard.
Briggs and Nya being monkeys on the the Jeep.
Nya and her signature peace signs.
This is from the boat where we swam with the dolphins, saw a few sea turtles, where Maria touched a sea turtle, where we swam with a ton of fish that we were all able to touch (or did the fish touch us?), and where Maria caught a large pin cushion starfish (she returned it to its natural habitat). It was a great idea to take the boat out.

Maria being a softy when Nya was tired of walking and starving. Maria is a great cousin.

Enjoying the beauty of the Temple and sporting our leis.

Nice Family picture at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The show was fabulous.

Maria and Nya enjoyed drinking out of pineapples.

And drinking out of coconuts. Nya really wanted to do this, but was disappointed that the coconut milk was not very good (it needed sugar). Maria liked it though.

This is how Nya went down the stairs in the condo.
The beautiful beach. We went to a different beach everyday and snorkeled. It was interesting to see different things at each location. We saw beautiful fish both big and small, a stingray, a barracuda, and many strange but interesting creatures.

Having fun with the jeep. Nya climbed all the way over the top and then inside every time she got in and out. By the last day, she used the door.

The pineapple plantation. We ate the sweetest most delicious pineapple! Yum, yum.

Monkey climbing in the car through the window because the top was up.
Rebekah, Matt, Jonathon, Heather, Nya, Nelly, Briggs. Thanks Maria for taking our picture. We found out we were going to all go to Hawaii, so we planned on going at the same time. They told us Turtle Bay was a great place to stay and it was. It was fun to hang out with friends on vacation.

Some dolphins we saw from the boat. It was really cool to see them from the water too. It is amazing how many more are under the water. Nya counted 53 under the water, and that is just what she saw. There were many more spread out. I was surprised that she counted them because I did not even think about counting. I was just amazed to see them.
Swimming with the fish, turtles, and dolphins. Matt was nice to take a picture of us girls. This was from our boat trip.
Cute Maria.
This is one of our best vacations and it was so relaxing too. We all got really tan without even trying, we ate great food, had fun, had adventures, and best of all we were together.
