Things I have been meaning to post....

About a month ago, Nya randomly said, "You are a guppy. That is what Ariel said to flounder. Mommy, what is a guppy?" Nya's first movie quote; what a surprise.


This morning I was reading from the children's Book of Mormon stories (the one with life like pictures in comic strip setting). I read that in a dream Lehi was given a book that told the future of Jerusulm. After I read that section then Nya said, "Like in Day's movie." She was referring to the movie that her cousin Day brought over to our house Meet the Robinsons. I could not believe that connection. It has been at least 2 weeks since Nya watched that movie. What is even more amazing is that I did not even know she was paying attention to what I was reading because she was busy putting her barbie dolls in a bag.


In Septemeber, Nya was playing downstairs. Suddenly I hear her calling me, like something was wrong. I ran to the stairs and saw her with her arm stuck in the weight bench. She was a bit worried, but as soon as I started laughing and said, "let me get the camera," she started laughing too.
