A Trip to So. CA

We went to LA to a funeral of a good friend. While there we also visited my cousins and uncle. It felt so good to see them and to reconnect. We also went to Disneyland. I am afraid that I have scarred Nya by taking her on the Hollywood Tower of Terror as our first ride. She was terrified and I felt instantly guilty! But after a few kiddie rides, watching the Aladdin show, seeing Handy Manny and Mr. Incredible, she was happy as can be. While we were waiting for the Aladdin show to begin, Nya asked if Jafar was going to be in the show. Not thinking, I said yes. She then became terrified because she is afraid of Jafar. She wanted to leave and was on the verge of tears. Finally the show began and she realized it wasn't scary. Then the marketplace scene was going and there were lots of girls whose costumes showed their bellies. Nya said, "Mommy, I know you do not like the immodest clothes, but the girls have to wear them for the show." I asked, "Nya, what do you think of their clothes?" "Oh, I really like them."
What is her obsession with immodesty? Why does she want to be immodest?

We were looking through the gossip magazines while waiting in line at the grocery store. Nya gets to a page with a girl wearing a shirt exposing her belly and short shorts. Again, Nya says, "Ooohh, Immodest!! Cuuuuute."

Nya Loves Mr. Incredible. He kissed her hand and Nya wasn't sure what to do. She was also thrilled to see Handy Manny. Her Heros!
